Animal Kingdom hits screens tomorrow

Critically acclaimed Aussie drama Animal Kingdom hits UK film screens tomorrow; 97% positive on Rotten Tomatoes already so it sounds like a corker. It follows a notorious Melbourne crime family, loosely based on the real-life Pettingill family and the Walsh Street police sheetings which happened in Melbourne in 1988. Guy Pearce plays Senior Police Officer Nathan Leckie and there's a standout performance from Jacki Weaver as Janine 'Smurf' Cody, the matriarch of the 'Cody' family.
