Paranormal Activity reaches $100 million mark

Hot new horror flick Paranormal Activity has hit the $100 million mark at the US Box Office this weekend, which makes it the highest grossing R-rated thriller of the last decade.

Can't wait to check out this movie which was made for around $15,000 dollars and is basic in its style. With PA and the raising profile of smaller budget films such as Colin recently, this inspires and gives hope to all potential film-makers out there. I've just finished my first screenplay, a UK zombie apocalypse flick, which I'm in the second draft of editing. I'd love to make it but always thought it impossible. But you never, never know what is around the corner and never say never!

Hopefully I'll be seeing and reviewing Paranormal Activity soon so watch this space for my thoughts as I'm a bit of a horror movie junkie!
